K9s and service animal assistance

Since November 2020, Project Always Beside You has had the honor to participate in several occasions where K9 handlers needed assistance. We have also assisted Veterans by providing a service animal thanks to partnership with El Paso Animal Services. In May 2022, we were able to assist a Veteran by providing financial assistance for medical costs for his service animal.


Project Always Beside You got to do our first ever service dog connection for our service members in need! In September 2023 we were able to pair two German Shepard puppies that were donated to us by a breeder from Weatherford, Texas with a USMC Veteran from New York and a local Air Force Veteran. Project Always Beside You will also assist both of our Veterans in getting the dogs certified as service animals.
